My offerings are informed by practice and training in martial arts, chi gong, the discipline of authentic movement, butoh, postmodern and mixed ability dance, contact improvisation, massage therapy, bodywork, ecosomatics, visual art and writing. Tailored to the needs of the individual or group, I choose frameworks and create a container to guide experience and reflection. Work can focus on one modality or apply an intermodal process; exploring multiple modalities in one session. Expressive arts work by definition includes this switching action. I utilize drawing, writing, movement, voice, creative dialogue and performance/presentation. Intermodal creative processes are gaining attention as effective tools for improving neuroplasticity; our brain's ability to reorganize and rewire its neural connections, enabling it to adapt and function in new ways.

Both those with and without arts experience discover benefits and find growth edges in this work.

Absolutely no prior arts or movement training is required. The intent of creative work produced and shared in sessions is to be purely of service to the individual and/or group inquiry and process, not to produce a "skilled" "finished" art work or "product".
Sessions can be specifically designed with intent of assisting creatives in all aspects of producing finished works/series/projects from generating new material to overcoming "creative blocks" to presentation/performance.
